i get depressed when i think about DC comics

because judging by their uncalled for reaction to when a fan asked them if they would hire more women, and lauren faust being (really) the only girl in public view that has any remote connection to working for them-

i’d have no chance at getting a job with them unless it was on a very, very, very distantly controlled project.

DC at it’s very ROOTS (i’m talking batman, superman) just seems very….white and controlled. It obviously gets more ethnic the further you get away from them (static shock, blood syndicate) but the roots are still the same.
